I have worked in the print and graphic design industry for over 19 years with skills covering many areas. First and foremost I am a skilled Creative Artworker and can produce accurate print files from any type of source material. This may also include European language versions of the same artwork such as computer game packaging. From business cards to exhibition graphics and everything in-between, I have the experience.
As I spent many years working in the pre-press department of a print house I have an excellent knowledge of the print process and draw on this when creating artwork for print. This also made me a good contact for the printers in case there were any problems that needed to be solved on the artwork.
I have an excellent understanding of the RGB colourspace, as well as CMYK, so I am able to create accurate files for use online whether that be for the Internet or for use on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Store, Steam, App Store or Nintendo Channel.
Over the years I have managed the production side of various creative studios, most recently being SEGA Europe. These positions typically included managing the Artworkers and Designers, making sure they understood the brief, were motivated and were using the correct templates. I would also liaise with the Account Managers or Brand Managers to take briefs for the Studio.
My love for all things technical means I have become adept at fixing the Apple Macs in the studios I have worked in. By having this skill it reduced the amount of downtime if there was ever a software problem.
I have a fun attitude to my work and understand the importance of good morale in the work place.
